This is the fifth and final installment of “Grimm Fairy Tales Presents The Little Mermaid” from Zenescope Entertainment. This part of the arc is sub-titled Homecoming.

In the previous 4 issues we have seen Erica tortured by land dwellers as her mother gets the sea-witch to help her get to Erica’s father, the King of Atlantis. Issoro, the King of Atlantis, takes his army of Atlanteans to battle the people who held Erica captive.

Meanwhile Erica, who has already escaped the lab is in the ocean. trying to decide whether she should run and spend the rest of her life looking over her shoulder or to go back and make her captors pay.

I am not going to reveal what she does, but it is a fitting way to end this arc. I really hope Zenescope continues this series or at least Erica’s story. I am curious as to what plans the sea-witch may have.

I really cannot say much more about the artwork than I have before about the artwork that is in the works of all of Zenescope’s titles. Overall I think anyone would be pleased with this issue and the series in general, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves fairy tales with a twist.

Zenescope Entertainment provided a copy of the issue to Geek Life Entertainment.
